Guide to Shatterzone Products Shatterzone was first released in 1993 by West End Games. Precis Intermedia acquired the rights to Shatterzone in 2010. All of the original books are planned to be rereleased, although some may be combined with other books. The following list describes each product as it was originally published, along with its associated reprint (if available). Shatterzone Boxed Set This box included the Player's Guide, Universe Guide, Rule Book, Shatterzone Quarterly Issue 0, and Action Card Deck. Shatterzone Core Books These are the three books included in the boxed set, often found individually at ebay and used book stores. Shatterzone Classic Reprint Core Download, Softcover, and Hardcover These are reprints of the three original Core Books in one volume, as well as the index from Shatterzone Quarterly 0. The Download also includes the MasterDeck action cards. MasterDeck This 108-card deck replaces the original Action Card Deck and is compatible with both Shatterzone and MasterDeck. A Plot Development Deck is also available for new options. Gamemaster Guides There are several books for aiding gamemasters with their campaigns. These are Brain Burn, Zeenarchs, Contact!, Fringers Guide, and Fleet. Tech Guides There are several books focusing on new equipment, cybernetics, and starships. These are Tech Book Ships (now ShipTech), Arsenal, Hardwear/Softwear (those last two are now GearTech), and Stock Ships. Campaign Guides There are a few books that offer venues for campaigns and adventures. These are Shadow of a Black Sun, Through the Cracks, Crosshairs, and Grimsyn Sector. Novels There were four novels written for Shatterzone. These are River of God, Beyond the Zone, Sole Survivor, and Shattered and Other Stories.
